We run djembe workshops for school years 3 to 6. We create fun and games to learn musical concepts, without it feeling like a lesson. We play everything from traditional African folk songs to contemporary pop, and have a lot of fun along the way.
We perform in public as often as possible, at least once a term but often more. This gets the children growing in confidence, and it gives a performance outlet for what we have learnt.
Age range: school years 3, 4, 5 & 6. The classes are for any children in the Battersea / Nine Elms area.
Cost: £3 per session, and bookings are made in blocks of 5 sessions.
