NINE ELMS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
A charitable fund to support projects to connect diverse communities
The main way we fund projects is through our charitable fund called the Nine Elms Community Foundation. Through this we support local events and projects that connect existing and new communities.
These projects range from
running the Nine Elms community website
hosting Friends of Nine Elms Parks
offering Sparks Clubs for children
creating community meetups through The Living Room
Our Goals
We want to create opportunities for adults and children to experience growth, fulfilment and faith through friendship and learning
Our events have four goals:
to create welcoming, safe and interesting spaces for people to flourish
to support the personal growth and learning of each individual
to promote cultural experiences through Music Art and Drama
offer opportunities for meetups and friendships to develop
Is this something you can invest in?
If you want to invest in the local area there are two ways to do it through the Nine Elms Community Foundation.
The first is to Volunteer. Why not help on one of our projects - from helping with websites, news and information, or helping at an event for Friends of Nine Elms Parks, or helping children with arts and crafts and music.
The second way you can invest is to contribute financially to community projects in Nine Elms. Here are some typical costs.
It costs £50 to cover teaching, materials and food for one child in an afterschool club for one term, or £150 a year
It costs £60 a week or £240 a month to run the community website www.nineelms.org
Here are the essentials about giving to the Foundation:
Every financial gift is ringfenced for the direct benefit of the project you support.
Gift Aid can be claimed to increase the effectiveness of your gift.
Every donation is made and audited under Charity Commission guidelines
