Throughout history, there have been lots of people who claimed to come from God and who taught about Him.
As Christians, we believe that Jesus was different – not just a good man who was gifted in teaching about God - but actually God’s Son, divine, God himself come to earth.
One of the key ways Jesus showed this difference was through the miracles he did on earth. The first of these was turning water into wine at a wedding – but he went on to help people in other miraculous ways – feeding them, healing them, saving them from danger.
This is one of the ways we know he really was the Son of God, our Saviour, and part of God’s rescue plan for the people of earth.
