A Bible Verse to remember

Today we have a message from the angels to all of us, not just the shepherds, at Christmas:

Luke 2 vs. 10-11

 But the angel said to them,

“Don't be afraid!

I am here with very good news for you,

which will bring great joy to all the people. 

This very day in Bethlehem

your Saviour was born - Christ the Lord!”

Prayer

 Lord Jesus,

we thank you that God’s love is for everyone, no matter who we are.

By sending your Son Jesus as a baby into our world,

you showed us that you understand what’s it’s like to be human –

both the good bits and the hard bits.

Thank you that through Jesus, you give us all forgiveness for the things we do wrong and offer us eternal life. Amen
