Advent 2 - Sunday 6th December

God planned the birth of Jesus for over 1000 years – it was such an important event! God spoke to many special people, known as prophets, about his plans, and the prophets told all the people, but the people didn’t listen or get excited about what was to come. But God carried on with his plans anyway, as he knew that we needed Jesus, even if we didn’t realise it – to come and rescue us from all the suffering in the world and to give us the chance to live with God forever.
