There is no video for the bible reading today, but you can read it together – it’s John 15 vs. 9-14.

But one of the other times Jesus talked about loving others in the bible is a very famous story.

It explains that God wants us to love everyone, not just those in our families, our neighbours, and those like us.

He even wants us to love strangers, people from different backgrounds, with different views, even our enemies!

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank you for loving us so much that you want to be our Father.

Help us to be brave in sharing that love with everyone around us, our families and friends, neighbours, and even those we don’t usually get on that well with.

Help us to know that every time we share your love, it makes you so happy and so proud of us as your children. Amen
