It’s very easy to let money or our desire for material things to take our focus away from God. When we focus on getting more we are never satisfied. We always want more, it never lasts, and we can start to behave badly to get what we want.

But if we keep our focus on praising God and think of our money and things as only being on loan from him (because he gives us everything we have), it’s much easier to give generously, both back to God and to people in need.

He is always enough for us, we are never left wanting more, and we will be with Him in his kingdom in this life and the next.
