Sunday 27th September
Jesus wants us to act in a similar way to how he acted when he was on earth. This doesn’t mean we have to move to Israel and wander around the country preaching (!!). We can stay in Battersea, but we have to display the same values and treat people in the way that he did.
We should treat people kindly & fairly, do things to help other people, care for people who are ill. This is the work that Jesus asks us to do on earth.
Some people talk a lot about doing the right thing when they are in public, but maybe don’t actually do the right thing later when no-one can see – but Jesus knows everything we do, regardless of what we say to others.
He’s most happy when we do the right thing, regardless of whether anyone else knows or not!
