Jesus often healed people from a physical illness or disability but he also talked a lot about spiritual sickness and healing. One example is blindness. Jesus healed some blind people, but he also challenges us to think about times when we might be spiritually blind - when we might choose to see a problem or issue vs. when we might choose to ignore it; and to think about how we react when we see problems and injustices. Jesus wants us to see ‘with his eyes’ – by which he means he wants us to really look closely at the world around us, seeing the people who need our help and then acting to help those we can….
