Welcome to the Parish of Battersea Fields!

For over 150 years our local churches have served the families and workers of Battersea and Nine Elms and we still do today.

Of course, our parish is no longer the market garden for London that it was in the past (although 40% of all food eaten outside the home in London passes through New Covent Garden Market in the parish).

Today we reflect London's history of Victorian growth in industry and railways, post war housing and now, the redevelopment of Nine Elms, the largest regeneration in Europe. We are home to Battersea Power Station and the American Embassy.

Our churches are easily accessible to anyone in Thessaly, Nine Elms, Doddington, Battersea Park and Queenstown areas. We offer a warm welcome to everyone and we are always working to create the perfect place for you to thrive in life and faith. Our churches are changing too.

Responding to the growth of the parish in Nine Elms on the South Bank we are starting new kinds of church and activities particularly around the arts to serve all people across this changing area,

We also love to join in with anyone who wants to build community in our neighbourhoods. We work closely with our local outstanding church school St George's, as well as with a number of other agencies working for the benefit of local people.
